Smokey Pines MX - Track Rules

Ride Safe. Ride Smart. Have Fun.

At Smokey Pines MX, our goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable, and family-friendly motocross experience for riders and spectators alike. These rules are designed to protect everyone at the facility and ensure that every practice day and race event runs smoothly.

By entering the property, all riders, spectators, crew members, and guests agree to follow these rules and comply with all instructions given by Smokey Pines MX staff and race officials.

AMA Rulebook & Supplemental Track Rules

Smokey Pines MX is proud to operate as an AMA-sanctioned motocross facility. All riders, parents, mechanics, and spectators are expected to be familiar with the current AMA Amateur Competition Rules. The Smokey Pines MX Track Rules are intended to supplement, not replace, the AMA Rulebook. These local rules address facility operations, rider safety, event procedures, and track-specific policies to help provide a safe, fair, and enjoyable experience for everyone. In the event of a conflict regarding race competition, rider eligibility, or on-track conduct, the current AMA Amateur Competition Rulebook shall govern unless otherwise announced by Smokey Pines MX Race Officials. By participating in any practice or race event at Smokey Pines MX, all riders and guests agree to follow both the Smokey Pines MX Track Rules and the applicable AMA rules and regulations.
